Ingredients
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 TBSP HEBA® Supa-Seed Flour 30 grams
- Seasoning of your choice Smoked Paprika and Onion Powder
Instructions
Prepare the Coating
- On a flat plate, combine HEBA®, salt, and your seasoning of choice. Mix well to distribute evenly.
Whisk the Egg Mixture
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and baking powder until frothy.
Coat the Fish
- Lightly pat the fish fillets dry. Roll each fillet in the HEBA® mix, then dip into the egg. Repeat once more — coat again in HEBA®, then dip back into the egg. This double-dipping gives an extra crispy finish.
Pan-Fry to Golden Perfection
- Heat coconut oil or Holsum in a pan over medium heat. Place the fish skin-side down and fry until golden brown and crisp.
Flip and Finish
- Gently turn the fish over and fry the other side until equally browned and cooked through.
Serve Hot!
- Remove from the pan, drain on paper towel if needed, and serve immediately. Enjoy hot and crispy!
