HEBA®, derived from the idea of “healthy eating,” is an incredibly versatile gluten-free product made from ground seeds and coconut flour.
With a focus on affordability, HEBA® can be used to make pap, bread, or krummelpap, and it has also inspired creativity among keto and health-food enthusiasts who use it to recreate low-carb versions of favourite traditional dishes, such as umvubo, suji and vetkoek. Beyond this, HEBA serves as a nutritious, quick, and cost-effective porridge alternative for vulnerable communities and school learners.

In August 2016, HEBA® was awarded 1st place for “Most Innovative Ingredient” at the Global Food Industry Awards. This honour was presented by the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST), representing over 300,000 members across 65 countries—truly the global voice of the industry.
